Shein UK revenue hits £2.58bn as it overtakes ASOS

12 Oct 2026

Shein reported that its UK revenue rose 26 per cent to £2.58 billion in 2025 and pre‑tax profit increased 18 per cent to £45.2 million, while Companies House filings show its UK staff expanded from 91 to 113 employees. Those UK figures place Shein ahead of ASOS, which posted total group revenue of £2.48 billion for the year to 31 August 2025, although the comparison is not direct because Shein’s data cover only its UK operation and ASOS’s include international markets. Shein’s international performance was weaker, with September quarterly profits falling 67 per cent amid higher freight costs and softer sales in Europe and the US. A related story noted that H&M disclosed a second‑quarter adjusted net profit of $228 million (£169 million) and a revenue rise of 0.9 per cent to $11.08 billion (£8.2 billion), helped by growth in Latin America.
